The SIFP program is all about connecting and leveraging -- connecting with existing organizations doing related work, helping our constituents connect with them, and leveraging best practices across the sector.  We're not interested in reinventing any wheels.  Seattle's SIFP Community Innovation Partners include:

    • Alliance of Angels has been connecting investors to the most promising early-stage companies since 1997.
    • Alliance of Eastside Agencies builds healthy communities in East King County through a strong human services network by providing a strong voice for Eastside health and human services and by promoting organizational excellence among providers. 
    • Alliance of Nonprofits is advancing a powerful nonprofit sector throughout Washington State. 
    • Ashoka Seattle invests, inspires, and connects people to build a movement of local social entrepreneurs.
    • Bainbridge Graduate Institute provides business education for a sustainable world.
    • Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Foster School of Business promotes entrepreneurial learning and discovery to students—from undergraduates to PhD candidates—across the University of Washington. 
    • CityClub builds a community of informed and active citizens throughout greater Seattle.  Since 1981, they've brought together leaders and the public to talk about complex issues across political, professional and generational divides.  Today they reach out through in-person forums, social media, publications and broadcasts.
    • Corporation for National & Community Service, a federal agency that engages more than five million Americans in service through Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America, and leads President Obama's national call to service initiative, United We Serve.
    • Fledge is a “conscious company” incubator, addressing an enormous opportunity, the large and growing number of consumers are increasingly: environmentally conscious, energy conscious, health conscious, conscious of sustainability, of community, and even conscious of consumption itself.
    • GeekWire is the leading, Seattle-based technology news site and online community, bringing you dispatches from the digital frontier and covering the region's innovators, from startups to tech giants. 
    • Global Business Center at the University of Washington Foster School of busienss aims to develop global business expertise by hosting and sponsoring outstanding international education initiatives.
    • The Guiding Lights Network specializes in the art of the gathering, creating experiences that spark civic imagination and social change. We bring together leaders, catalysts, and innovators in creative ways to generate new solutions to collective challenges.
    • Hub Seattle is a professionally hosted environment that connects social entrepreneurs to community, events, and resources. It is a social innovation center that provides coworking opportunities, private offices, shared meeting rooms, and event space--all aimed to accelerate the social impact and financial feasibility of local social ventures.     • Keiretsu Forum is the world's largest angel investor network with 850 accredited investor members throughout twenty-one chapters on three continents.
    • Leadership Tomorrow prepares, challenges and engages emerging and existing leaders through leadership development for the benefit of the Puget Sound region. The organization's programs enlighten, inspire and transform participants, who come from a diverse array of professions and communities, by convening productive conversations around critical issues that impact the region.
    • Microsoft Alumni Foundation catalyzes the collective power of the Microsoft Alumni Family to make a difference for others and is the home for information about and connections to the philanthropic activities of the Microsoft Alumni community. 
    • Minority Executive Directors Coalition is a coalition of community leaders of color dedicated to achieve equity, equality and social justice.
    • Net Impact Seattle brings together area professionals who are in corporate social responsibility positions; would like to learn more about CSR; and/or who are engaged in CSR conversation, but would like tangible ways to translate the discussion to their professional lives.  Net Impact is an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of leaders who use business to improve the world.

    • NPower Northwest is where savvy nonprofits turn for technology.     • Seattle Foundation is making the greater Seattle community a vital and healthy place to live, driving positive change on a range of local issues by working side by side with donors.
    • Seattle Good Business Network is a new non-profit network of residents and local independent businesses that share a vision for a sustainable local economy - a living economy - one that's rooted in local ownership, a healthy environment, and strong community.
    • Seattle Pacific University's Social Venture Plan Competition encourages students to develop business ideas that are both financially sustainable and have a significant impact on real social problems.
    • Seattle University's Harriet Stephenson Business Plan Competition is designed to help students and alumni in launching new business ventures, including for-profit businesses, not-for-profit businesses, corporate entrepreneurship, and social enterprise.
    • Seattle Works connects volunteers, develops emerging leaders and inspires dialogue.
    • Sustainable Seattle seeks to celebrate thriving efforts and inspire similar ones, through action-oriented workshops, community-centered newsletters, and the installation of rain gardens.
    • Technology Alliance is a statewide, not-for-profit organization of leaders from Washington's technology-based businesses and institutions united by our vision of a vibrant innovation economy that benefits all of our state's citizens.
    • Teens In Public Service is dedicated to producing future leaders committed to their communities by connecting teens with life-changing opportunities and internships at non-profit organizations.
    • TiE Seattle is a not-for-profit network of entrepreneurs and professionals that has been serving the Seattle community since 1998.  TiE provides a robust and global platform for mentoring, netwoking, and educating entrepreneurs.
    • United Way of King County brings caring people together to give, volunteer, and take action to help people in need and solve our community's toughest challenges.
    • United Way of King County's Project LEAD is a nonprofit leadership training program that prepares highly qualified people of color to become knowledgeable, responsive and strong civic leaders.
    • United Way of Thurston County's mission is to strengthen our community by mobilizing people and resources to meet identified human needs. 
    • United Way of Whatcom County is mobilizing the caring power of our community to create positive impact in education, financial stability and health for all our residents.
    • Washington Women's Foundation is an organization of more than 500 women who pool their financial and intellectual resources to make large impact grants to improve our community in Washington State.  Through extensive educational programs on grant-making, community issues and other philanthropic topics, members collaborate on solutions and serve as philanthropic leaders.  The Foundation is open to all women interested in philanthropy.
    • William James Foundation manages business plan competitions for socially-responsible for-profit businesses.
    • Zino Society is a premier membership, business and social network that connects accredited investors with entrepreneurs seeking funding.
